Camel F1 Custom Helmet

Smoking might kill, but we all know it’s cool. Design simplicity was king in the days when Senna sat behind the wheel of the Team Lotus 99T F1 Car. The bright yellow and bold blue Camel livery is iconic and beyond eye catching. It’s a stark contrast to the complex liveries in much of racing today.
About 10 years after Senna piloted the Camel F1 car, the “Pleasure to Burn” Campaign began appearing in print ads. To me it’s some of the most iconic art in any marketing. A juxtaposition of class and contemporary attidudes, with a little seduction sprinkled on top.
This open face is a remix of the Camel Livery, adding in a pinup girl to the back that might distract eyes from the road. It stays true to the simplicity of the original livery, but adds a flare with metallic blue logos and a sultry scene.
